მუზეუმი თავისი საქმიანობის მიმართულებით შეიძლება იყოს: ა) ისტორიული; ბ) საბუნებისმეტყველო; გ) მემორიალური; დ) ხელოვნების; ე) ლიტერატურული; ვ) სამხედრო. საქართველოს 2022 წლის 14 დეკემბრის კანონი №2293 – ვებგვერდი, 27.12.2022წ.
