პაციენტს უფლება აქვს უარი განაცხადოს მე-18 მუხლის პირველი პუნქტით გათვალისწინებული ინფორმაციის მიღებაზე, გარდა იმ შემთხვევებისა, როცა ინფორმაციის მიუწოდებლობამ შეიძლება სერიოზული ზიანი მიაყენოს პაციენტის ან/და მესამე პირის ჯანმრთელობას ან/და სიცოცხლეს.
