Prosecutor General - Searches were conducted at the apartments, houses and personal residences of Irakli Gharibashvili, Grigol Liluashvili, Otar Partskhaladze and a total of eight people associated with them

The Prosecutor's Office and State Security Service searched the homes of former top officials: Garibashvili, Liluashvili, Partskhaladze, and their associates. The operation spanned 22 locations, seizing electronics, documents, and large sums of cash. An investigation is ongoing.

"As part of a joint operation, the residential apartments, houses, and persons of the former Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, the former head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili, the former Chief Prosecutor, Otar Partskhaladze, and a total of eight individuals associated with them were searched," stated the General Prosecutor of Georgia, Giorgi Gvarakidze, at a briefing.

According to him, various electronic devices, documentation, and a large amount of cash have been seized.

"Due to the particularly high public interest and the importance of the criminal cases, I wish to provide the public with the following information:

Within the framework of ongoing investigations in the investigative unit of the General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, and the Anti-Corruption and State Security Departments of the State Security Service, a large-scale operation was conducted simultaneously at a total of 22 locations across the country, starting at 10 AM today.

As part of the joint operation, searches were carried out at the residential apartments/houses and on the persons of the former Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, the former head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili, the former Chief Prosecutor, Otar Partskhaladze, and a total of 8 associated individuals.

Various electronic devices, documentation, and a large amount of cash have been seized.

Active investigative, procedural, and operational-search activities are being conducted in relation to these cases.

We will periodically provide the public with additional information on the progress and results of the investigation," stated Giorgi Gvarakidze.
