პენიტენციური დაწესებულება, როგორც წესი, უზრუნველყოფს ამ დაწესებულებაში მოთავსებულ ბრალდებულთა/მსჯავრდებულთა ჯანმრთელობის მდგომარეობის კონტროლს, შესაბამისი ინფრასტრუქტურის გათვალისწინებით ახორციელებს აუცილებელ სპორტულ-გამაჯანსაღებელ ღონისძიებებს, პენიტენციური დაწესებულების დებულების შესაბამისად, სათანადო ინვენტარითა და მოწყობილობით ქმნის სპორტულ-გამაჯანსაღებელ მეცადინეობათა ჩატარების პირობებს.
