Shalva Buava, practicing attorney Currently, Shalva is studying at the School of American Law (SAL) and is also a candidate for a master's degree in Innovation and Technology Law at the University of Chicago Kent School of Law. (Illinois Tech) In 2019, he joined the Chargeishvili Law Firm as a corporate lawyer, and currently continues his practice at the same firm as a senior attorney. Shalva is a specialized lawyer in the field of children's rights, and has also completed special professional training in construction law, personal data protection, and the first module of the accreditation of arbitrators. He is a member of organizations such as the Georgian Bar Association, a member of the board of the Georgian Law Firms Association, and a member of the governing bodies of the South African and Georgian Chambers of Commerce. In 2021, he was appointed to the position of Head of the Administrative Department of the A(A)IU “Agency for Coordination with Medical Institutions of Abkhazia” of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Abkhazia. In 2019, he successfully passed the lawyer’s qualification exam in civil and administrative law, took the lawyer’s oath and officially joined the team of lawyers. In 2016-2017, he studied at the Mykola Romeri University in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, on a master’s program in international and European business law. After returning to the country, since 2017, he has been engaged in practical legal activities in various companies and has since successfully and continuously represented individuals and legal entities in various administrative bodies and courts of all three instances. In 2015, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the International Black Sea University and was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree. During his student years, he was actively involved in various local and international projects and conferences.
