Nino Lipartia — Doctor of Law (PhD), lawyer, specialist in medical, labor and insurance law, with 15+ years of versatile professional experience. She is the founder and partner of the “Medical Disputes Centre”. She is currently a member of the Executive Board of the Georgian Bar Association, a member of the Board of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, the Chief Legal Advisor of the Imedi Clinic and the Executive Director of the organization “Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession”. She is also the Deputy Chairman of the Legal Committee of the Asian and Gulf Business Chamber. Within the framework of her professional activities, she held leadership positions in the insurance sector for many years, including the Head of the Legal Department at “Ardi Insurance” and the Chief Legal Advisor at the insurance company “Avtografi”. Has practical experience in legal practice, representation in court and arbitration disputes, and also works as an arbitrator at the Dispute Resolution Center (DRC). In the academic and pedagogical direction, he is an associate professor and lecturer at several leading universities (Ilia State University, Grigol Robakidze University, Sulkhan-Saba University, Tbilisi State University, etc.), where he teaches courses in medical, labor and human rights law. He also actively participates in conducting professional trainings as a trainer and program manager. He is the founder and chairman of the “Legal Profession Development Center”, the organizer and speaker of many professional forums and trainings. Participates in conferences and research projects internationally as a speaker and delegate (Europe, Asia), where his research interests include: • Medical law and bioethics • Informed consent and patient autonomy • Legal and ethical issues of vaccination • Legal regulation and liability in the healthcare system • Access to expensive medicines He is the author and co-author of a number of scientific papers, monographs and textbooks, including in the fields of civil law commentaries, labor law and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). His professional activities combine practical legal experience, academic knowledge and international vision, which is aimed at improving legal standards and developing effective legal mechanisms.
