Salome Bezhashvili

Salome Bezhashvili is a lawyer, mediator, lecturer and Managing Partner of the Law Office (BBK - Business & Law), with over 15 years of professional experience in business law, commercial law, labor law, corporate governance, mediation and effective dispute resolution. She is the Managing Partner and Head of the Legal Practice of the Law Office “BBK - Business & Law” (BBK), as well as the Managing Partner of the international business representation Recus. At the same time, she heads the Legal Department of the international company AE-SOLAR and represents a number of Georgian and foreign companies in daily legal activities and strategic decisions. Salome Bezhashvili has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2017, a mentor lawyer and actively participates in the development of professional standards. In 2022–2025, she headed the Competition and Commercial Law Committee of the Georgian Bar Association, and before that, she was the Chair of the Mediation and Arbitration Development Committee. Currently, she is the Chair of the Commercial Law Committee of the Georgian Bar Association. She is a founding member of the Georgian Mediators Association and an accredited mediator, a court mediator, as well as a founding member and executive director of the Georgian Mediation Chamber (BBK). In 2019–2023, she worked as a mediator for collective labor disputes of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Protection of Georgia, where she participated in many important labor disputes. Salome is a visiting lecturer at Caucasus University, where she teaches the subject “Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods”. She is also a mentor at the International School of Marketing and actively participates in the professional development of young lawyers and business representatives. Her professional experience includes legal support for both the private sector and state agencies and international projects. At various times, she held the positions of Head of Legal Department and Chief Lawyer in state and private organizations, including the Administration of the Government of Georgia, the Organizing Committees of the European Youth Olympic Festival (Tbilisi 2015) and the European Youth Athletics Championships, as well as in various international and local companies. Since 2016, Salome Bezhashvili has been Head of the Legal Department of the Georgian National Athletics Federation, and at various times was a lawyer at the LEPL Maritime Transport Agency and the Batumi State Maritime Academy. Salome Bezhashvili holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Law from Caucasus University. Additionally, she has completed a specialized program of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the field of international labor standards. Her main areas of practice are: Business and corporate law; Commercial and contract law; Labor law; Mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR); Corporate governance and legal risk management; Legal support for international business; Court representation and complex legal consulting. Salome Bezhashvili is fluent in Georgian, English and Russian.
