How verification works
Every specialist listed here was approved by a person before the profile appeared: the legal.ge team, or, for a specialist employed by a firm, that firm. Approval now requires a complete profile: a photo, a name, a professional title and a biography in Georgian, English and Russian, a phone number and an email address, working languages, practice areas and cities. A specialist who states membership of the Bar Association, the Notary Chamber, the audit service or the mediators’ association must also give a registration number. The register mark means we matched the specialist’s name to an entry in the public register of the Georgian Bar Association and someone on our team confirmed the match; it is our own check, not a statement by the Bar Association. A profile without the mark has not been refused it: many matches are still waiting for review, and names are sometimes written differently.
