Liana Zagashvili is a lawyer with 7 years of professional experience. In 2020, she completed her bachelor's degree at Ilia State University. In 2022, she was awarded the academic degree of Master of Laws at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, where she will continue her studies in the doctoral program from 2023. Her professional experience includes work in both the private and public sectors. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ exchange program, she was nominated twice for doctoral research and was at the Open University of Cyprus (Open University of Cyprus, 2025) and the University of Cadiz in Spain (Universidad de Cádiz, 2026). Liana is employed as a Personal Data Protection Officer (DPO) in various organizations, and since 2020 she has been an expert in authorization and accreditation of higher education institutions. His research interests include artificial intelligence and copyright protection in relation to literary works. He is the author of numerous scientific publications on the topics of intellectual property and copyright law. His main specialization is intellectual property law.

Her main research interests are the intersection of artificial intelligence and copyright, in particular, issues of protection of literary works. Liana believes that the mission of a lawyer, along with interpreting the law, is to shape the legal framework of the future - to create a system that ensures justice, transparency, and the protection of fundamental human rights, even in the face of technological challenges.
Liana Zagashvili holds the position of an Invited Lecturer at the University of Georgia and teaches the course: "Professional Skills for Lawyers."
