Biography

David Maisuradze is a highly qualified lawyer and advocate with over 15 years of professional experience in civil, corporate and administrative law. He has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association with general specialization since 2008 and has successfully defended and consulted both private companies and non-governmental and public organizations in legal disputes with various state and private structures for years. His practical experience includes drafting and analyzing high-budget, English- and Russian-language agreements concluded with international partners, legal expertise of contracts on commercial law, civil law, corporate governance, enterprise reorganization and securities market legal issues. At the same time, David Maisuradze has many years of experience working in the state and non-governmental sectors. David is a Professor at the Ilia State University School of Law, where he also directs the Master’s Program in Private (Business) Law and lectures on corporate law, corporate governance, enterprise reorganizations, and securities market law. His academic works have been cited by the Supreme Court of Georgia, which confirms his high level of expertise in the field of corporate law. David Maisuradze holds a Master of Laws (UC Davis LLM) from the University of California, Davis and a Doctor of Laws from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
